DIY Multitouch display: silicone rubber layer how-to video Posted by: blaxwan
Video duration: 570 seconds Checkout www.diniro.net ! This is the edited version of the video that I shoot while preparing the silicone rubber layer for my homemade multitouch display. The original video is nearly two hours long so I speed up it and edited with some useful informations as titles. I hope it may help anyone who's going to prepare a similar compliant surface! Enjoy! DIY Multitouch display: first test Posted by: blaxwan
Video duration: 247 seconds Checkout www.diniro.net This is a short clip of the first test of my DYI multitouch display. There's still an offset beetween the finger touch points and the detected touch points, this is due to the very unstable setup and the lack of SW calibration. The display will be improved also with a compliant surface that will require to press less hard on the display in order to detect touches. Related: display, diy, ftir, multitouch, nuigroup |

CD Burner Infrared laser test Posted by: blaxwan
Video duration: 28 seconds This is a very short video that I shoot just to see if the laser of an old CD burner that I still have is an infrared one. At this first look it seems ok for my multitouch applications as I cannot see it with my eyes but only with the IR-enabled webcam that I used for shooting this video. I don't know its frequency, it should be around 780 nm. More information at: http://www.diniro .net Related: burner, cd, infrared, laser, multitouch, recorder |
