Video duration: 139 seconds In this experiment, I found out that both cartridges will penetrate all the way through even a tightly packed cotton sheet. The .22 hollowpoint went clean through without expanding any, but the .17 V-max expanded a lot on the way through as it made a much larger hole going out than the .22 did.
